What brand security camera system do you recommend? 

Although there are a lot of different brands of security camera systems, we recommend Lorex and Reolink camera systems for the best overall features.

Do You Sale Security Camera Systems?

Chris's Security Camera Installs LLC does sale new and used security camera systems with warranty, customers may also provide their own equipment of their choice.

 Can you upgrade my current security camera system?

Yes, we can upgrade a older style security camera system in most cases as long as the wiring is the same for the newer model system and found to be in good condition. 

​

Do you recommend having pre-wired cabling installed by builder?

​Builder pre-wiring is a great option for new homeowners in the building process, but homeowners need to ask the builder to install connectors on both ends of cabling as they normally don't, please be mindful that Chris's Security Camera Installs LLC does not use pre-wired cabling with bare wire ends as we don't install cabling connectors.

Are there any additional fees other than camera installation fee?

​Our standard security camera installation fee is listed under services and pricing tab and includes the labor cost of installing a wired security camera if no other factors occur, additional fees are considered by other factors like additional wiring if needed to reach from chosen camera location to DVR/NVR chosen location. The other most common factor to increase installation price is if the DVR/NVR is chosen to be placed away from the room where internet router is located as most DVR/NVR's require direct connectivity to internet router through ethernet cable.     

 

​How Long Does Install Take?

Chris's Security Camera Installs completes 99% of installation appointments the same day. We suggest planning on 1 hour availability per camera to be installed, as someone over the age of 18 years of age must be present during the installation appointment.
